Instructions: Use the color picker to find a color that you like then click the [CONVERT] button.
Example Use:
A) Convert your CYAN, MAGENTA and YELLOW powder dyes to liquid form
B) Generate a color recipe using the online tool
C) Divide the percentage for WATER by 10 and take note
D) Place an empty water bottle on a digital scale and tare the weight
E) In ozs of water by weight, add the noted amount from step B) to the bottle
F) Tare the scale
G) Divide the value for CYAN by 10 and add that many ozs of CYAN dye to the water.
H) Repeat steps E) and F) for MAGENTA and YELLOW
I) Seal the bottle tightly with a cap and shake well.
J) Dye is ready for use.
Tips:
1) Mix a sampler first using smaller percentages and test to see if the color is right for you.
2) In very small increments, add drops of black to darken the dye if needed
3) While this tool will get you extremely close; water, dye quality and other factors determine the outcome.
